You acknowledge and agree that the Services support electronic signatures and records subject to the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and similar applicable laws. You consent to do business electronically and to receive records electronically. The enforceability of any electronic signature depends on applicable law and the facts and circumstances of each transaction.

4. Document content and responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the content of documents you upload, prepare, send, sign, or store using the Services.
  • You must obtain all necessary rights, consents, and authorizations to process documents and personal data.

5. Service features

  • Preparation tools (form fields, templates, routing).
  • Identity flows and audit trails, where enabled.

7. Fees and taxes

If paid plans or usage-based fees apply, you agree to pay all charges in accordance with the plan you select, plus applicable taxes. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice.

We may offer free tiers or trials from time to time. Free access is subject to usage and feature limits and may convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial period or upon exceeding free limits, as described at the time of signup.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@reliablepdf.comwithin 30 days and we will review the charge in accordance with our policies.

8. Intellectual property

We own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, interfaces, and documentation. You retain your rights in documents and content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide and improve the Services.

9. Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other in connection with the Services. The receiving party will use such information only as necessary to perform under these Terms and will protect it with reasonable measures. These obligations do not apply to information that becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, is independently developed, or is rightfully received from a third party without restriction.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with the Services.

11. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third-party products (such as identity, storage, communications, file processing, or AI services). Your use of third-party products may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party products and do not control their actions.

For transparency, we may provide examples from time to time (e.g., identity or storage providers). However, we disclose categories of third parties rather than specific vendors to maintain flexibility.

12. Warranties and disclaimers

  • The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that documents are legally valid in all jurisdictions.
  • You are responsible for determining whether an electronic signature is appropriate for a particular transaction and for complying with recordkeeping requirements.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the amounts paid by you to us for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) if you have not paid any amounts.

The foregoing limitations do not apply to liability resulting from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where such limitations are prohibited by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, cause harm, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. We may retain and use your content as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, subject to our retention policies.

16. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the changes.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, unless the law of your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue. The U.N. CISG does not apply.

Mandatory consumer protections and non-waivable rights provided by the laws of your jurisdiction remain unaffected to the extent required by applicable law.

18. Export and sanctions compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not subject to sanctions or located in a restricted jurisdiction and that you will comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws.
